1. What CAMPO is

CAMPO is a private-group football score prediction service. Users create or join small private groups, predict the scores of upcoming football fixtures from international and club competitions, earn points based on the accuracy of those predictions, and compete against the other members of their group. The user with the most points at the end of a group competition receives a digital trophy. A global Hall of Fame ranks the top players in all-time categories.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You must register with accurate information. Each person may hold only one account.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you become aware of unauthorised use of your account, you must inform us without delay at hello@campo.club.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or harm other users. Where reasonable, we will notify you before doing so.

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Account deletion is a soft delete: your account becomes inactive and inaccessible, but data tied to the integrity of groups you participated in — including predictions, points, and trophies held by other members of those groups — is retained. This is necessary so that other users' competition history remains coherent.

4. Predictions and scoring

Predictions are made by entering a home goal count and an away goal count for a fixture. Predictions can be edited or deleted any number of times before kickoff. After kickoff a prediction is locked and cannot be changed.

Each prediction belongs to a single group. If the same fixture appears in more than one of your groups, you predict for it separately in each group; predictions are never shared across groups.

Scoring rules, lock times, tie-breakers, and group lifecycle rules are described in the FAQ and in the in-app help. We may adjust scoring rules to fix bugs or to keep the rules consistent with the spec; if we change a scoring rule in a way that affects ongoing competitions, we will inform affected users.

We rely on a third-party data provider for match results and fixture information. If that provider corrects a result after we have already scored a fixture, we recompute the affected scores. If a fixture is cancelled or otherwise not completed, predictions for that fixture are treated as having taken place but earn no points.

5. Groups and trophies

You may create or join private groups. The creator of a group is its admin and may set its name, description, avatar, and the fixtures it tracks. Admin rights can be transferred. Membership rules are described in the FAQ and in the in-app help.

Trophies awarded for winning a group competition are digital, non-transferable, and have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for money, prizes, or anything else.

Nothing on CAMPO constitutes a bet, a wager, or a game of chance under Swiss law. No money is staked, no prizes are awarded, and no fees are charged. Participation is entirely free and entirely for personal entertainment.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use CAMPO to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Use offensive, illegal, or infringing content as your nickname, avatar, group name, or group description.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts, predictions, or data.
• Attempt to bypass the kickoff lock, the prediction privacy rules, or any other technical control of the service.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to interact with the service, except for routine browser activity.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of CAMPO.
• Use CAMPO in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or on the third-party services we depend on.

We may remove content that violates these rules and may suspend or terminate accounts as described in section 3.

7. Availability and changes

CAMPO is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the continued availability of the service in any particular form.

We may at any time:

• Modify, add, or remove features.
• Change the scoring rules, prediction rules, or other product rules. Material changes will be communicated in advance where practical.
• Suspend the service for maintenance, upgrades, or operational reasons.
• Discontinue CAMPO entirely. In that case we will give reasonable notice and where possible allow users to export the data we hold about them.

We depend on third-party services, in particular our match data provider, our hosting providers, and our email providers. Outages or errors in those services may affect CAMPO; we will mitigate these where we reasonably can but cannot guarantee against them.

8. Intellectual property

CAMPO, its code, its design, and its name belong to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works of any part of CAMPO without our written permission.

Content you submit — nicknames, avatars, group names, group descriptions, predictions — remains yours. By submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content as necessary to operate CAMPO.

Team names, competition names, and any team logos or crests displayed on CAMPO belong to their respective owners. We display them for the purpose of identifying fixtures and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any football club, league, or governing body.

9. Liability

CAMPO is a free service operated on a non-commercial basis. To the extent permitted by Swiss law, we exclude all liability for:

• Loss of access to your account or to data we hold about you.
• Errors in match data, scoring, or rankings, including errors caused by our third-party data provider.
• Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind.
• Damages resulting from your use of CAMPO in any way contrary to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Swiss law, in particular liability for intentional acts or gross negligence.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at campo.club/privacy. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify registered users by email and prominently on the service. Continued use of CAMPO after the change takes effect counts as acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes you may delete your account.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict of laws rules and excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of CAMPO is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at our seat in Aargau, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
